The Worlds Strongest Woman AKA United Strongwoman World Championships is a counterpart to Worlds Strongest Man since 1997. There are other competitions out there however is still considered the ultimate title amongst the community.

With a history still fresher than that of the Worlds Strongest Men, the competition is still trying to find its feet, having had sponsorship withdraws and re branding. The contest has now had 5 consecutive years without interruption after a turbulent few decades.

Aneta Florczyk

Aneta Florczyk was crowned Worlds Strongest Woman 2003, 2005, 2006 and 2008. Florczyk is the Guinness World Record holder for having won the competition more than any other woman in history.

Florczyk started power lifting at just 16 where she competed and won Polish championships, graduating to Europe’s Strongest Woman. She has also won multiple events across Scandinavia and Europe at the same time as competing for her World title.

She became an internet sensation for rolling a frying pan (and subsequently 5 in a row) with her bare hands. This sparked public interest, as well as over head pressing fully grown men.

Donna Moore

Donna of Colburn, North Yorkshire is a British Strongwoman winner of 2016, 2017 and 2021 Worlds Strongest Woman. She also has wins of first place in 2016 + 2017 Arnold World Strongwoman Competition and 2018 Arnold Pro Strongwoman Competition.

In 2020 she starred on TV show World’s Ultimate Strongman Feats of Strength Series season 2 where she lifted a new world record for a successful atlas stone lift of 171kg.

Jill Mills

Jill Mills from the USA Born 2nd March 1972 is an American world champion powerlifter and world champion strongwoman winning Worlds Strongest Woman in 2002 and 2001.

Mills, a lifelong woman of strength was partaking in events and training as a bodybuilder prior to the inception of Worlds Strongest Woman.

Her professional powerlifting and strongwoman career spans from 1995 – 2004 after competitive bodybuilding in 1993 – 95. It is not uncommon for athletes to find their footing in the aesthetics of bodybuilding only to discover their true lifting power.

Along side this expansive competitive life she has also worked as a businesswoman and is married, currently residing in Texas.

Rebecca Roberts

Rebecca Roberts was born 1994 grew up in North Wales. She holds the title of most recent Worlds Strongest Woman 2021 and has competed in British and European leagues since 2016.

She holds 10 world records in various disciplines such as Thor’s Hammer hold, Axle Dead lift, Log lift and Dead lift.

Roberts attended university in Liverpool where she studied psychology and through university clubs she discovered rugby. She was introduced to strength and grip sports by her partner Paul Savage, who remains her coach. Most of her training routines you can find on her Youtube channel.

Roberts is an advocate for body positivity and mental health, partially due to her own experience of bullying due to her weight and size.Β 

Nina Geria

From Kyiv Ukraine, born 29th November 1990 Nina is a Ukrainian strength athlete. She is notably known as the winner of the World’s Strongest Lady competition held in 2011.

Nina started training since 2003 at just age 13 and on the 30th of May 2010, she set her first world record in the stone put with a 120 kg lifting stone.

Geria has been a regular competitor at strongwoman and Highland games events as well as tug of war tournaments. Still young in the sport, she has a vast horizon still in front of her in the ever evolving competition gaining traction in sponsorship and recognition yearly.
